It’s Summer time and the time of year when people think about their skin, and skin cancers. The sales of sun screen must certainly go up and this must be when the sunscreen companies make all their money! It is time to get out there and educate the public about skin cancer, UV Rays, and I am so totally impressed with SPFStore, making 100% Solar Protective Clothing and also they are reaching out to the public to educate them that your skin can sustain damage all year round, and not just the summer. This company actually CARES! Wow, they care, did I say they care? How unusual is that this day and age? Awesome!
Visit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
On a recent family trip to the Florida Keys, we decided to stop for a night at the Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove in Miami. As hotels sometimes do, the Ritz offered us complimentary tickets to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Honestly, we had not heard of the Vizcaya before, but it was a great little side trip! Since becoming members of Ringling Museum, we have grown to love the history of places like this. Disappointed there was not a docent available during the summer, we will definitely visit again when we can go on a docent-led tour.
Check out this gorgeous robe from the Tampa Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Cafe. I have one and it is a nice plush robe with a quality you expect when you stay at a Hard Rock Hotel, or spa like the one in Tampa, FL! I love this Hard Rock and the atmosphere there. There is nothing else like this in the Tampa area and if you are looking for a getaway, I highly recommend spending a day, a weekend, a week, or whatever time you can. Enjoy the shops, restaurants, entertainment, casino, pool, spa, etc. You will not be bored! I will be giving a Hard Rock Robe away to one of my lucky friends here at Joan and Riah’s Reviews. First, check out what’s happening in July!
My inconclusive travel plans for 2012
I have been in many places, but I’ve never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can’t go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.
I’ve also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.
I have, however, been in Sane. They don’t have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my boss, work and politicians who affect my life.
I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I’m not too much on physical activity anymore.
I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.
I’ve been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.
Sometimes I’m in Capable, and I go there more often as I’m getting older.
One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!
I may have been in Continent, but I must’ve been sleeping while traveling through . It’s an age thing.
PLEASE DO YOUR PART!
Today is one of the many National Mental Health Days throughout the year. You can do your bit by remembering to send an e-mail to at least one unstable person. My job is done!
Life is too short for negative drama and petty things. So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!
From one unstable person to another… I hope everyone is happy in your head – we’re all doing pretty good in mine!
