Tea Time with Newman'sOwn Organics

Tea Time at my home, thanks to Newman’s Own Organics! As many of you may have noticed, one of my favorite companies to work with is Newman’s Own Organics.  I love most of their products I have tried and also appreciate the helpfulness when I have questions.

Awhile back I was talking with the rep about getting things together for another giveaway that you will see when the Dogs come out, she was telling me about some new cookies, added to their Family Recipe Cookies as seen above in the bowl.  I was sent 2 different cookies to try. I happened to ask about tea and was sent a box of Green Tea.

So I received all my goodies in, and I thought to myself, surely I can do something with these all together!  After some thought I decided to surprise my Brit husband with an afternoon tea!  Although neither of us care much for Green Tea I prepared it in my pretty see through Tea Pot, and added just one bag.  I then added in the bowl both the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Ginger Snaps and called “me mate” to join me for afternoon tea. “Huh?”, he said. LOL  I said I had a little surprise for my fine British Gent and escorted him in to the small tea table for some chatting and enjoyment.

First I tried the Green Tea, with such an ever so small sip, thinking I would not care for it, but I was quite surprised that I actually enjoyed the taste as did my husband. Well that was awesome I thought to myself!

We both jumped into the cookies to try. Cookies are a big weakness in my home.  I first tasted the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and I was in love.  Oatmeal have always been my favorite cookies but add the chocolate chips, and they are exquisite. YUMMY. I have to say I hid that bag and it was all mine. This was it lasted several weeks.

The next cookie is the Ginger Snap. Let me tell you, wow wee the ginger will clear your sinuses and maybe burn your tongue a little.  We buy a brand of Gingersnaps with Lemon Creme so what I did was mix some canned frosting with fresh lemon juice from my yard and spread it on the cookies and boy that was tasty. My husband scarfed those down in one day! Guess they were a hit!

My Generous friends at Newman’s Own Organics have graciously agreed to share the same tea and cookies to a lucky follower! Thanks to them for sharing.
