Tropical Traditions – Love Coconut?
I have had this review pending a long time as I received so much
shredded coconut that I wanted to share several wonderful recipes with you! My family is beginning to look forward to coconut tastys
when I get the bucket out, yes bucket! Some lucky winner is
going to get their own bucket of shredded coconut! Delicious and easy
to cook with!
Tropical Traditions is known as the BEST coconut out there now that you can purchase! I have tried so many of their products that I have to
agree. I have also learned about the nutritional value of the coconut
and how it is cultivated. It is 100% pure with no pesticides used and
no added sweetness, additives, or preservatives to the coconut,
and is fresh when you receive it and oh so tasty! I just love the
shredded coconut I got to do my review on. I can tell you, this will
go a LONG way for home use.
I would like to share some of my recipes with you that
I have used this shredded coconut for! I will start with Coconut
is a picture of Coconut Chicken from Google Images as I cannot find
my image 😦
Ingredients included 6 chicken thighs, 2 eggs,
1-1 1/2 cups coconut & a sprinkle of flour. I first opened
up the thighs and put about a tsp. of coconut mixture inside thigh,
evening it out! I then closed the thigh and rolled it in egg
and then rolled it in coconut, flour mix and place on pan. I
then repeated this until all my thighs were done, they were then
placed in a 350 degree heated oven and baked for about 45 minutes.
Serve with what ever veggies you like. I also put a small spoonful of
Duck Sauce on the side of mine so if you like it, it was there, and
it made a great dipping sauce for the chicken!
My next recipe for you is called a Dump Cake! It
got it’s name by dumping all the ingredients into the pan to
make it! This is so yummy!
