Good Bye Sandy Feet, Lets Get Those Feet Neat!

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Have you ever gone to the beach, especially with the kiddos you preach, “Get that sand off your feet”.  All the preaching you do means nothing as it falls upon deaf ears of the kids, and some “ahem” adults as well! Then you get home and when everyone is gone and you look in the car and find a cat sitting in what is now a sandbox, is it really worth it, you think to yourself!
For me, living in Florida, this happens way too much! We get visitors often from what we call Snow Birds and also family and friends at the first sign of cold in the northern states!  This means, I have to deal with sand!
And lets face it, when my Husband works in the yard his hands get sandy and are a real mess as below:

YUCH! That would drive me crazy having all that sand between my fingers and under my ring as seen in this picture of my Hubby’s hands, and NO WAY are you coming in the house with all that sand on your hand!
Using just a towel or rag doesn’t do it at all. So now the time has come!  The time to try the special stuff I had been coveting, waiting for the right moment, Sand  Gone! I am really excited, fingers and toes crossed!
Out comes the Sand Be Gone:

Initially, you use the powder puff to apply the Sand  Gone and you rub it over the sand and watch the sand fall away.  Hubby got impatient with me so he grabbed the puff and sand be gone from me, so he can use it himself! Just like a man, wants to be in charge! I wanted him to do it anyway LOL!

He has to re-powder the puff numerous times to get his hands sand free, or as sand free as possible. The Sand Gone removed most of the sand but did leave a little.  It was a lot better than just using a towel to wipe your hands or feet with.  I will keep this in my car for in the future!  I am not convinced this is a solution, although it helped with the sand, it still left some sand residue! I would like to quote the companies Product Information:  SAND GONE is a dry body powder that, when applied to sand covered skin, removes the sand and leaves the skin soft and smooth while feeling fresh and clean.
Sand Gone comes in an attractive eight ounce jar with a screw-able lid. Within the jar is a microfiber applicator. It is extremely soft but also durable. It can be cleaned by household washers and dryers when necessary. The applicator also has a strap across it to help secure it to the user’s hand as the powder is applied.
The dry, white powder is both non-toxic and non-talc. It also contains a hint of coconut fragrance. Sand Gone is best used when cleaning up while leaving the beach. However, Sand Gone works perfectly well when cleaning up after the sand box, playground or wherever one encounters sand. It is like having a “dry shower” from a jar. In addition to removing the sand, Sand Gone also removes the salt from your skin after a day at the beach. No more uncomfortable “scratchy feeling” under clothing during the drive home.
After using Sand Gone, you will quickly find that it becomes one of those must-haves at the beach, sandlot or park. You will know to bring your sunblock and shades…but also your SAND GONE.

So what next in my investigation of this product?  I think I need to share and have one of you receive your own Sand Gone and let me know your opinion after they have tried it!
