Review & Giveaway – Lindsay Aline CD

I would like to introduce you all to a very lovely young lady named Lindsay Aline, who has been dreaming of

a singing career since she was 13 years old. Now at 24 she is starting to realize her dreams and has come out with her first CD.  Lindsay has spent years writing songs and ideas on post it notes until things came together for her.  As most of us know, artists struggle with their identities as they begin and grow, reaching out to find themselves as an artist.  This is just what Lindsay has done, after traveling from California to Italy, she finally found herself.

I personally found her voice and songs reminding me of the years of Joan Baez and Carole King mixed with a little Enya, if you can picture that.  My husband and I listened together and one of our first comments as well is that she reminds of us the Celtic Woman.  Her music is a sirens song relaxing you into a sense of tranquility as you listen to her melodic voice.  I did find some of Lindsay’s songs a but pitchy as she tried to reach some of the higher notes but she quickly recovered into her music. I sound like an American Idol judge but this is how it sounded to my untrained ears listening! She sounded better and more confident with the lower sounding melodies.  I think as Lindsay matures and gains a little more confidence that will be resolved!

This is a good CD and I will enjoy listening to it on occasion.  I will share it with my older sisters as I think they would enjoy the songs and music on the CD as well.
